Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Tag Force 4 is the one of the most popular preventing video games. Unlike its prequel, this game happen during a different slot with different characters and story. Yu-Gi-Oh! is a card game created by Konami, the franchise have an anime and manga that’s also about the cards.
STORY 5/10
The game story is predicated on which partner you decides to pair up with and every partner have 4 story (except a special few that have 8). the great thing about this is often that every main characters have their own unique stories that involve the player to have a tag duel within the end and personality to explore, which is great. The bad thing about it however, is that the sport feels really lifeless, which is bad for video games and therefore the overall storyline have an enormous plot hole (eg. “Jack Atlas:” kill “Carly Carmine” in his story, but she can still be paired up or walking around despite being dead).
GAMEPLAY 7/10
This game have tons more cards than its prequel, therefore, there’s more archetype for player to play as and also more playtime for players. The dueling during this game is fun, but it really depends if you wish playing Yu-Gi-Oh! cards or not, the A.I during this game remains hard and at time seems to cheat (eg. the A.I can see your cards), but it is a lot easier compared to its prequel. This feature “Destiny Draw” returned once more , which allows the player to draw a card that they need previously set within the “Deck Edit Menu”, this is often a nice feature for players to form a counter, however, the pc also can use this feature, therefore, making the game only harder .
The Tag Duel during this game is boring and at time are often really frustrating. Unlike its prequel, this game doesn’t allow the players to see their partner’s hand anymore to prevent the players from getting annoyed that their partner made a stupid move, however, because your partner A.I still isn’t smart enough to form use of the cardboard they need on the sector or sacrificing your stronger monster to summon a weaker monster (eg. Partner tributes “Junk Warrior” to summon “Fortune Fairy Chee”), only makes Tag Duel more frustrating. a pleasant little new feature that was introduced during this game is that the “Partner Synchro” feature, which allows you to require control of your partner 1 turn, this is often a nice little feature because it allows the player to form a counter move in your partner’s turn.
There really isn’t anything to try to to outside of dueling except for raising your Partner’s Heart Level. Each characters have at least 4 Heart Level (Some have 8, but needs a special method to access it), to boost a partner’s heart level, you’ll either give them gifts, play various mini games or duel opponents to impress them. a new feature during this game is that Partner are often changed a day , you not got to have 1 partner that sticks with you until their stories end, now you’ll just search for them and invite them, which may be a great feature because it wouldn’t bored players and allow easier “Heart Level Raising”. The con about not having a permanent partner until their story is finished is that the fact that some characters only appears at Sunset – Night (eg. “Dark Signers”), but overall the feature is good.
